My husband Jake and I celebrated our wedding on December 2nd, 2023. We had our wedding at The Garrison in Garrison, NY surrounded by 150 of our family and friends. It was the most wonderful day of our lives- but gosh was it stressful! I wouldn’t change a single thing about our wedding day…except something has bothered me. I wish I had professional social media content captured.
Nowadays when you want to get married within a year of your engagement, it’s incredibly competitive to book a venue and vendors of your choice. Even if you choose to do a micro-wedding or do a private ceremony with a nice dinner afterward, planning the logistics is tough. Throughout the planning process, you have to make decisions about budget and what’s most important. I definitely wish we had budgeted to have a social media content creator there to capture the behind-the-scenes moments.
